PROTOTYPE HISTORY
The “Bulat” T-64 is the main battle tank of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is the result of a rethinking and deep modernization of the Soviet T-64 tank. Over decades of painstaking work, designers were able to bring the fire control, protection, and firepower systems up to the level of modern T-80 and T-84 models. Due to its predecessor, “Bulat” has a recognizable design: side protection side screens, a low-profile turret equipped with passive protection plates, and an ammunition bunker. “Bulat” T-64 is one of the main mechanized combat units in the Ukrainian army. Inheriting the simplicity of the base model, it has significantly improved in characteristics. This combat vehicle can reach speeds of up to 60 km/h on the highway and has a combat range of up to 385 km. The turret turning speed is 40 degrees per second, allowing the tank to quickly respond to threats.
Features
“Bulat” is armed with a 125 mm main gun, a remote-controlled automatic 12.7mm anti-aircraft gun, and a 7.62 mm machine gun. The main gun can aim at targets up to 2.5 km away and fire up to 8 shots per minute. The advanced "Kombat" guided weapons system allows the tank to strike enemy vehicles with guided missiles at distances of up to 5 km. The electronic aiming and fire control system makes this tank a formidable weapon, as demonstrated by its effective use in the real combat conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war of 2022-23.
The "BULAT T-64" DIY model kit is sure to please all fans of technical creativity, military equipment, engineering history, and combat action. The "BULAT T-64" model features rotating wheels and moving tracks, allowing the tank to move across flat surfaces. The rotating turret maintains the shape of the real tank and is equipped with a gun that can change angles, models of a commander's panorama, an anti-aircraft gun, and an ammunition bunker. Textures and images are applied to the surfaces using electrochemical etching, giving the model the appearance of the original tank.
All model parts are made of stainless steel used in the food industry, the production of consumer goods, and toys. Assembling the "BULAT T-64" model excludes any harm to the owner. The precise cutting allows the model to be assembled without the use of additional tools, soldering, or gluing.
